• Content & Catalog Browser Migration
  More easily migrate the content catalog from AutoCAD Architecture 2011 and AutoCAD Architecture 2012 to AutoCAD Architecture 2013 with the custom settings dialog.
• Regeneration Performance Enhancement
  Keep working while the drawing is still regenerating. You no longer have to wait for the entire drawing to finish regenerating before you can begin working.
• Room Documentation
  The Roombook feature lets you apply multiple finishes to a surface then calculates these surfaces (walls, floors and ceilings) as well as room circumference and furnishing elements for enhanced room documentation. You can also export the data to Microsoft® Excel® spreadsheet software, or export a DWF™ file to Autodesk® Quantity Takeoff 2012 and Autodesk Quantity Takeoff 2013 (QTO) for cost estimating.
• Layer Key Component Display
  The Display Properties dialog has the capability to display all components, and control the visibility of specific components in a drawing. You can also set the display component to inherit the layer name from the current Layer Key Style to provide a cleaner and more organized set of documentation.
• Transparency Control
  Control how you want each component to be defined with easy-to-use transparency controls for individual display components.
• Schedule Table Enhancement
  Group and subtotal so you can organize the schedule table based on the needs of your project. Similar data can be grouped, formatted, and subtotaled at different levels.
• Schedule Tag Enhancements
  Schedule tag enhancements give you more control over how tags and tag attributes are rotated to align with objects. When text appears stacked, the primary text will always be above the secondary text when rotated.
• Hatch Display Components Enhancements
  Scale hatch patterns to respond to the annotation scale.
• Industry Foundation Class (IFC) Enhancements
  Continued improvements to Industry Foundation Class (IFC) file format support include:
  • Recertification from buildingSMART for importing and exporting version 2x3 IFC files
  • Toolkit enhancements that make it easy to migrate changes from one release to another
• Global Content Pack
  AutoCAD Architecture 2013 now ships with the same content globally. The Global Content Pack provides a minimum set of content in order to get oriented with the software, as well as a common reference point for the Help, Tutorials, and the creation of localized content. Additional content can be easily downloaded and used based on your specific project needs.
